I look into her eyes
and remember unconditional love
i look up to the sky
and know that we share the sight above
i feel his small body
and hol him tightly in my arms
i feel his quick heartbeat
and let him gaze in to the stars
i know their curiosity
and recall that innocence
i know their viod of sin and shame
and remember that happiness
(for Garrett and Katie, for Kaitlyn and Jacob, for Snow, Heidi, and Gilly, for Erica and Justin, for Jessica and Ashley, for all the children who remind me of what real beauty is. I wish there were a world good enough for you to grow up in, but this is all i have.)
